Urban Farming
Urban population remains high due to rural-urban migration which make such set ups creating high demand for food. Due to lack of space and attitude towards white collar jobs, majority of the populations tend to resolve to purchasing food from the market leading to shortage of such commodities.
Environment Conservation
Climate change has become a major concern globally and this has triggered climate action as major strategy towards achieving a better environment for all. Our organization has put up different interventions to conserve our environment.
Talent Nurturing
We work closely with youths to build their talents. This is achieved through provision of training platform, linking them to opportunities, mentorship etc. this platform help youth move away from peer pressure, negative behaviors, idleness which can lead to school drop-out, early pregnancies, drug abuse, crime act.
Financial Inclusion
The CBO uses SILC (SAVING INTERNALLY AND LENDING COMMUNITIES) methodology to improve livelihood of its members. Groups are formed, trained on group dynamics, and allowed to save. Through this platform members share their challenges, learn from each other and build their financial status. Groups under UDS are monitored and linked

Due to an increase in population within Nyalenda, most people within the community do encounter a lot of challenges and as a result of low income, most households rely on hand to mouth to satisfy their needs and this results to no household development.
We work with youths, women and people with disability. Key areas are economic empowerment, environment conservation, social welfare.
